石井紗和子 Sawako Ishii

浜松市楽器博物館学芸員。キュレーターとして、音楽と楽器から文化や社会について考える場づくりを試みる。2018年秋より、調査のためイランに約1年間滞在し、弦楽器のセタールとペルシア語の歌唱を学ぶ。同地での経験を活かし、帰国後は大学のゲスト講師やワークショップのファシリテーターなども務める。上智大学国際教養学部卒業、東京藝術大学大学院国際芸術創造研究科修了。

Sawako Ishii is a curator at the Hamamatsu Museum of Musical Instruments in Japan. She obtained an MA in Arts Studies and Curatorial Practices from the Graduate School of Global Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. Under the graduate program, she researched cultural practices of Iranian migrants in Japan and conducted a one-year field research in Tehran, Iran. She was awarded the Ikuo Hirayama Cultural Arts Fund in 2020.
